We’re proud sponsors of the KHH which does an incredible job supporting Kaimanawa horses, from the wild to domestication.
This amazing and passionate group work closely with the Department of Conservation and the Kaimanawa Wild Horse Advisory Group to manage the wild Kaimanawa herd, located in the central North Island of New Zealand.
Each year, a Kaimanawa Horse Muster rehomes excess horses from the 300-strong herd. The KHH’s role is to find suitable homes and ensure these horses have a great quality of life in domestication. They guarantee their welfare and offer help if needed.
Now, every new owner of a Kaimanawa receives a free MiEqui Grooming Pack to take home with their new charge.
Obviously, these horses aren’t keen on being washed or conditioned when they first come in from the wild however like the KHH and the committed owners of a Kaimanawa, we play a long game too!
